A gift to The Smith Fund is an unrestricted, budget-relieving contribution and goes immediately to where it is needed most in that given year. When you give to The Smith Fund, you give opportunity and support to the future generation of Smith women.

To count for reunion totals, your gift must be made by Friday, May 21.

Message from your Class Fund Agents: 70 for 70!

Smith needs our help now more than ever. We were beneficiaries 40 years ago, and now it’s our turn to help Smith offer financial aid packages to its students. Our goal—70% participation from the class—is aggressive, and WE CAN DO IT! Why is the number of donors (participation) important? It’s an indicator of the Smith Fund’s health, so our objective is to increase that number each year. That’s why your gift, regardless of amount, counts.

As added incentive, several alumnae from all classes have joined together to MATCH all Sophia Smith leadership level gifts of $1,875 OR MORE through June 30.
Many thanks to the 41% of you who have already given in this fiscal year (which began July 1, 2009).  If you already made a year-end gift in 2009, you can make a 2010 gift and have it count for this fiscal year at Smith–so consider making your 2010 gift by May 21.  Click here to donate now.

We will be marching in the Alumnae Parade with our contribution totals and participation percentage on a banner. Remember, make yeur gift by May 21 so it will count in these numbers.
